I have a primal attraction to the jungle because it is the garden that spawned life as we know it. The world was once covered by rainforests that contained the same kinds of species as exist today. A Gondwana Rainforest is named for the fossil records that show it is more than 100 million years old. The largest one is Tasmania's Tarkine wilderness area, in Australia.
